Monday, Feb 18, 2013

RUD Chains Ltd is a leading manufacturer of chain systems and components including lifting and lashing applications that guarantee ultimate safety when lifting and moving heavy loads. Offering over 270 different tested and certified lifting/lashing points, 210 of which are for bolting and 60 for welding.

RUD have standard and tailored applications to meet even the most demanding project requirements. Working across many industries from offshore, construction to the MOD to name a few, RUD applications can be used in a wide variety of working environments.

The VLBS-U-LT 2,5t welded load ring, one of RUD’s latest innovations offers a major distinctive feature operating to temperatures as low as - 45°C perfect for many offshore, arctic offshore, specialised construction projects to Military applications and many more.

The VLBS-U-LT holds many similarities to that of the VLBS but offers the extra advantage that it can operate to temperatures as low as - 45°C. The VLBS has an increased working load limit of 50% more than the LBS. The optimized support shape at the suspension ring enables a strong support at loads 90° to the plane of the eye and the load bracket can be tilted by 180°.

Due to inside positioned patented distance supporting lugs it offers enhanced support to the VLBS-U-LT, is 100 % electromagnetic crack detected, offers simple and easy weld assembly and has been charpy impact tested ≥ 27 Joule at -45°C (certified to 3.1material certificate).

RUD provide standard and tailored solutions to meet even the most demanding environments, helping to deliver applications that are catered to specific requirements, project aims and environments. Top quality products combined with technological innovations and experience makes RUD a top choice for all your lifting requirements.
